Each university has its own grading system, which may differ from one university or college to another. The two most common systems in Jordanian universities are:
• Point-based grading system (grades represented by letters).
• Percentage-based grading system.
Point-based Grading System:

Community Colleges:
Similar to schools, grades in community colleges are based on a 100-point scale with descriptive notes provided by the college. Letter grades or curved grading are not used. A cumulative GPA of at least 60% is required to pass. Student ranking in the class is also an important performance indicator.
